Like Heinz 57 sauce? In a pinch or don’t want to shell out the cash? Here’s a (surprising) recipe to make a mock Heinz 57 sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- 2/3 Cup Heinz ketchup
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 4 oz applesauce
- 2 T Wish Bone Itailian Dressing
Directions:
- Put all ingredients in blender and blend for 2 minutes on HIGH or until smooth.
- Enjoy!
- Be sure to keep the sauce in a container in the fridge.

If you don’t have raisins or applesauce or salad dressing of that type around, you might as well buy the Heinz57 because it would cost too much to get them.

Heinz 57 mock steak sauce is a combination of ketsup and regular mustard. Twick it in amounts until you get the desired taste. It’s that easy. I make it all the time.
